This past weekend, prior to taking the stage at a jam-packed Bridgestone Arena, 2x GRAMMY Award winner and multi-platinum selling artist Lauren Daigle was presented with plaques honoring recent RIAA Certifications. Her 2018 record breaking album, Look Up Child, was officially certified 2x Platinum. The breakthrough album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and solidified Daigle’s position as a mainstay on the charts.  She also received a plaque honoring the Gold Certification of her single, “Thank God I Do,” which is the lead single from Daigle’s 2023 self-titled album. It marks her 6th Billboard No. 1, making her the first artist to have two singles top the Top Christian Songs chart for more than 20 weeks.

Lauren Daigle is a two-time Grammy®, seven-time Billboard Music, four-time American Music, and twelve-time GMA Dove Music Award winner.  Since the release of her GRAMMY® Award-winning, 2x platinum-certified 2018 album Look Up Child, which included the 6x platinum-certified hit “You Say,” Daigle has been a mainstay on the Billboard charts. When Look Up Child debuted at No. 3 on the Top 200 Albums chart, Daigle became the first female artist in history to simultaneously hit the Top 10 on both Billboard’s Pop and Christian Album charts. Her recent GRAMMY Nominated and Mike Elizondo-produced, 23-song, self-titled album’s debut single, “Thank God I Do,” gave Daigle her 6th Billboard No. 1 and was recently certified Gold. She’s garnered over a billion streams and wowed crowds for years with sold-out US and international tours. Daigle continues to cement her status as a modern vocal powerhouse with a huge global fanbase.

Off stage, Daigle remains committed to investing her time to promote music education, work with at-risk youth, and provide care for children, the elderly, and those in need through The Price Fund, an organization she founded in 2018. To date, she has distributed over $2.5 million to 42 nonprofits around the world.

NASHVILLE, TN / WASHINGTON, DC (March 20, 2024) – The Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA) hosted a soiree at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville last night (3/19) to celebrate superstar BRETT YOUNG whose No. 1 hit “In Case You Didn’t Know” (BMLG Records, now Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment) is officially certified Diamond. The milestone marks 10 million certified units in the U.S. and only the ninth Country single to earn the prestigious honor in RIAA history. He has captured the hearts of fans everywhere through his honest lyrics and West Coast-meets-Southern sound, aptly dubbed “Caliville” style.

“This has truly been the song that keeps on giving. As grateful as I am to this song, and what it is meant to my career, I’m even more grateful to all the people behind the scenes that works so hard to make sure it would be the successful. I think we all had high hopes, but never imagined this song earning an RIAA Diamond certification. Thank you to everybody that came out, and everybody that had a hand in all of the success,” expressed BRETT YOUNG.

Brett performed “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Lady” and current single Dance With You from his latest album Across The Sheets before accepting the Diamond award in front of music industry friends, media and his own family – wife Taylor alongside daughters Rowan and Presley.

“Brett, we are thrilled to commemorate your first RIAA Diamond in a space that promotes creativity, connection and that celebrates uniqueness. Today, you join an elite group of artists with a Diamond single. To date there are now only nine Country singles that have achieved this milestone. Congratulations to you and your Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment team on the remarkable success of “In Case You Didn’t Know!” We know there are many more to come,” said RIAA Chief Policy Officer MORNA WILLENS.

With this gem Brett has earned 11 RIAA certifications, including his undeniable string of No. 1 singles – 4x Platinum “Mercy,” 2x Platinum “Like I Loved You,” “Sleep Without You” and “Here Tonight,” plus Platinum “Catch” and “Lady.” Both “You Didn’t” and “Chapters (Ft. Gavin DeGraw)” have also earned Gold certifications. Defined by a transcendent romantic spark, he has cemented his status as Country’s master over matters of the heart with his Platinum self-titled debut – which dominated the Top the Country Albums chart for 37 weeks – and Gold TICKET TO L.A. albums.

“’In Case You Didn’t Know’ is truly one of those rare and extraordinary evergreen songs—it’s been seven years since its release and it continues to play and play, and reach new audiences for Brett,” shared Big Machine Label Group’s Chairman and CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA. “It’s a testament to Brett’s songwriting ability and a shining jewel in his very robust and ever-expanding catalog.”

“I will always remember the first time I heard this song –it was around two in the morning. Brett was in Mexico and sent me a rough demo. I must have listened to it about 40 times before I could finally fall back to sleep. It just felt like a massive hit from the very first listen!” said Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment President/CEO JIMMY HARNEN.

The star broadened his emotional scope on Weekends Look A Little Different These Days, featuring his Gold-certified single “You Didn’t” while Platinum “Lady ” inspired Brett’s debut children’s book “Love You, Little Lady,” published by Tommy Nelson (an imprint of HarperCollins). He was named ASCAP’s 2018 Country Songwriter-Artist of the Year for his “melodic craftsmanship”(Billboard) and has also garnered nominations from ACM, Billboard, Teen Choice, CMT and CMA Awards as he continues to rack up nonstop hits as “one of Country’s most consistent radio stars” (Rolling Stone). Alongside Shay Mooney and Bear Rinehart, Young also penned “Long Way Home (From The Motion Picture ‘Father Stu’)” a song featured in the Sony Pictures film starring Academy Award Nominee® Mark Wahlberg.

Following his headline Dance With You Tour, Brett is currently out with Sam Hunt on the Outskirts Tour 2024 and will head to Europe for multiple dates throughout May. For tour stops and more, visit BrettYoungMusic.com

NEW YORK, NY (February 8, 2024) – Reaching rarified air yet again, Post Malone has just made history once more as his seminal smash “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)” with GRAMMY Award-nominated artist and songwriter Swae Lee, becomes “the first-ever single to be certified ‘Double-Diamond’ by the RIAA. The track notably holds the most certifications of all-time, going 20x Platinum. It also continues a monumental hot streak for the GRAMMY® Award-nominated, 8x RIAA Diamond-certified artist and recent recipient of the Songwriters Hall of Fame “Hal Davis Starlight Award.” Earlier this year, he officially earned the most RIAA Diamond Certified Singlesfor any artist, ever.

Post will perform next ahead of Super Bowl LVIII on February 11th, taking on the duty of singing ‘America the Beautiful’ before kick off.

In the summer, he released his acclaimed fifth full-length album, AUSTIN. It bowed at #2 on the Billboard 200, his fifth consecutive Top 5 album on the chart since 2016. Beyond the 20x Platinum “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)”he now has 8 RIAA Diamond-certified records, those of which include “White Iverson,” “Congratulations(feat. Quavo), “I Fall Apart, “rockstar (feat. 21 Savage),” “Psycho (feat. Ty Dolla $ign),” “Better Now,and “Circles.

“Post Malone and Swae Lee have officially raised the bar on what creative partnerships and infectious collaborations have the power to accomplish. ‘Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)’ has now been streamed or downloaded more than 20 million times in the U.S. alone, and they’ve earned the custom hardware to prove it. Congratulations Post, Swae Lee and Mercury/Republic Records for making history with the very first 2x Diamond single!” – RIAA Chairman & CEO Mitch Glazier

About Post Malone

An 8x Diamond-certified GRAMMY® Award-nominated phenomenon, Dallas, TX artist Post Malone regularly rewrites history, blurs boundaries, and incites internet-breaking conversation with every move. Emerging in 2015 with a genre-less brew that inspired a movement, he delivered the Diamond-selling “Congratulations” [feat. Quavo], achieved back-to-back #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, received countless multi-Platinum certifications around the world, and smashed one record after another with his Hot 100-topping hits. In 2022, he pushed boundaries again with his fourth full-length offering, Twelve Carat Toothache, which marked his fourth consecutive Top 5 bow on the Top 200. It also paved the way for his biggest headliner to date, The Twelve Carat ToothacheTour, taking over arenas for multiple dates in major cities throughout the year. He even scored “the highest-certified single in RIAA history” with the 17x Platinum “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)” [feat. Swae Lee], netting the biggest single of his generation. In 2023, he garnered a GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance”for “I Like You (A Happier Song)” [with Doja Cat], marking his tenth career nomination in six years.

Three years prior, his 2019 third full-length, Hollywood’s Bleeding[Republic Records], represented an audience and critical high watermark. Not only did it arrive at Platinum status and eventually go triple Platinum, but it also reigned at #1 on the BillboardTop 200 for four weeks and returned to the chart for a fifth week, making for the longest run atop the chart of 2019 and the first release to do so in over a year. The quadruple-Platinum lead single “Circles” seized #1 on the BillboardHot 100 for three weeks. It notably occupied a spot on the chart for a record 39 weeks in total. Speaking of making history, he performed a massively popular Nirvana tribute concert on YouTube, raising over $10,000,000 for the World Health Organization in the fight against COVID-19. Hollywood’s Bleeding followed the immense success of the triple-Platinum beerbongs & bentleys, which also landed at #1 a year prior. In the wake of beerbongs & bentleys, Post crushed a record in place for 54 years. He charted nine songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100, notching “the most songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100 ever. Moreover, he also trounced the record for most simultaneous Top 40 Hot 100 hits with 14.

As of 2023, his catalog comprises the GRAMMY® Award-nominated “rockstar” [feat. 21 Savage] (Diamond), “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)” [feat. Swae Lee] (2x Diamond), “I Fall Apart” (Diamond), “Psycho” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign] (Diamond), “White Iverson” (Diamond), “Better Now” (Diamond), and more. Not to mention, he sold out numerous arena tours and hosted and curated his own mega-popular Posty Fest in 2018 and 2019. It all started with his quintuple-Platinum influential 2016 debut, Stoney. With records under his belt that will likely never be surpassed and a generation of artists and audiences worldwide under his spell, Post Malone simply doesn’t stop.

Four Platinum & Higher Certifications Recognized with Unique Accolade,
Created by Infinite Objects in Partnership with Roc Nation

WASHINGTON, DC (May 24, 2023) – The RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA® (RIAA) announces today a first-of-its-kind NFT accolade presented to WILLOW in recognition of the 3x Platinum “Whip My Hair,” 2x Platinum “Wait A Minute!,” 2x Platinum “Meet Me At Our Spot” and Platinum “t r a n s p a r e n t  s o u l ft. Travis Barker.” The plaque features artwork commissioned by the pop-punk provocateur alongside ROC NATION and INFINITE OBJECTS.

“I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to engage in the sacred process that is music. BIG LOVE to RIAA and Infinite Objects! I am so honored to be able to celebrate these milestones in such an innovative way,” says WILLOW

“RIAA has celebrated artists and their label teams through the Gold & Platinum program for the last 65 years as the industry has constantly evolved. We are excited to announce this innovative new way to recognize official certifications as WILLOW accepts the first-ever NFT plaque. We’re grateful to Roc Nation and Infinite Objects for this creative collaboration,” says RIAA VP of Media Relations | Gold & Platinum Awards Erin D. D. Burr

Minted on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-721 NFT (see here), this one-of-one item celebrates WILLOW’s musical accomplishments and creative partnerships. The digital ledger system ensures transparency as each certified single is represented as a “trait” of the NFT that can be updated on-chain when new thresholds are officially certified through the RIAA Gold & Platinum program. The authenticated Infinite Objects Video Print display will also automatically reflect the change in artwork when the NFT is updated.

Infinite Objects continues, “we’re thrilled to partner with WILLOW, RIAA, and Roc Nation on this groundbreaking certification. Collaborating on minting WILLOW’s achievements on-chain and celebrating the artwork in an authenticated Infinite Objects physical display is a true honor.”

“Roc Nation takes pride in leaning into new and innovative technology. We’re so excited to present the first-ever RIAA certification to be minted on the blockchain and presented on an authenticated NFT plaque to celebrate WILLOW,” says Roc Nation’s Chief Digital Officer David Wander & SVP of Digital Operations Luca Zanello

The NFT represents career highlights for WILLOW, from the heavy-hitter “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l ft. Travis Barker” to “Meet Me At Our Spot” with The Anxiety and Tyler Cole that caught fire on TikTok. WILLOW was named to Forbes’ 2021 30 Under 30 list and as Billboard’s Greatest Pop Stars of 2021: Comeback Artist of the Year. Using her voice beyond the lyrics, WILLOW won an Emmy Award for “Outstanding Informative Talk Show” (Red Table Talk). Hailed by The New York Times and Rolling Stone as one of the best of 2022, Pitchfork notes her most recent album, the critically acclaimed <COPINGMECHANISM>, “makes a case for a spot as one of her generation’s most versatile vocalists.”
